Daufuskie Island Residents and Property Owners Asked to Relocate Vehicles within Melrose Landing

In anticipation of the beginning of construction activities, Daufuskie Island residents and property owners are asked to relocated their cars and golf carts from the front parking lot at Melrose Landing to the back parking lot. Staging of materials and equipment is expected to begin this weekend.

The construction is expected to take a week depending on weather and supplies. Melrose Landing will remain open while the dock construction occurs but the public should expect to see equipment and personnel at the landing.
