Public Works & SCDOT actively working to address drainage issues

Beaufort County Public Works, in coordination with SCDOT maintenance crews, is aware of drainage concerns in the Alljoy area following recent heavy rainfall. Crews are actively working across the county to address immediate issues and provide relief where possible.


Separately, the County’s ongoing Alljoy Drainage Study is evaluating system capacity and potential long-term improvements. Findings from the study will guide future projects. We appreciate the community’s patience as both near-term response and long-term planning move forward.
